Before You Start
In the Container Manager, go to the left sidebar, In the Project’s “Action” dropdown menu, stop the Immich project.
Update Steps
- Clear immich: After stop the Immich project, then select “Clean”.
- Re-download and Modify Files: Re-download the docker-compose.yml and example.env files. Modify these files again with the changes you made earlier, replacing the old content with the new.
- Delete Images: Go to the left sidebar, select “Image”, and delete the two images related to Immich (refer to the figure below).
- Rebuild: In the project’s “Action” dropdown men, select “Build” to pull the latest version of the images. After “Build”, the project will start automatically, but you’ll need to wait for Immich to fully start before you can proceed with any operations.
- Update Complete: The update is now successful.
